Detailed and Comprehensive Inspection for your Vehicle
The Automobile Association of Malaysia is one of the few agencies in the country that provides advanced vehicle inspection services designed to test your vehicle and give you a complete and unbiased report. 4 types of inspections are available encompassing Normal Vehicle Inspection (NVI);Comprehensive Vehicle Inspection (CVI);Vehicie Electronic System Diagnosis (VESD); and Special Case Vehicle Inspection (SCVI).

The reports generated from the inspection can be applied for the following purposes:
1. Before purchasing a used car.
2. Pre-warranty expiration date.
3. Before sending the vehicle to the workshop for repair.
4. Before travelling on a long journey.
5. Specific car problems verification.

Exhaust Gas Analysis
Measures the relative volume of certain gaseous constituents in the exhaust gases of motor vehicles with spark ignition. These gases include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, oxygen, and oxides of nitrogen.

Vehicle Electronic Systems Diagnosis

1. Engine Management System (EMS)
Data stream - checks the EMS sensor signals, components readiness and output stage information from the EMS electronic control unit(ECU).
Read fault cade - reads fault codes, known as Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC), direct from the EMS electronic control unit's memory.
Activation test - activation af the solenoid components accessible to the control unit. This will check if the component is functional and the quality of its operation.

2. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)
Data Stream - checks the ABS sensor signals, components readiness and output stage information from the ABS electronic control unit (ECU).
Read fault code - DTC direct from the ABS electronic control unit's memory.

3. Supplemental Restrain System (SRS)
Data Stream - checks the SRS sensor signals, components readiness and output stage information from the SRS electronic control unit (ECU).
Read fault code - DTC from the SRS electronic control unit's memory.

4. Electronic Transmission Control System (ETC)
Data Stream - checks the ETC sensor signals, components readiness, and output stage information from the electronic control unit (ECU).
Read fault code - DTC direct from the ETC electronic control unit's memory.
