We offer less than container load (LCL), full container load (FCL) and various country consolidation services. Columbus Asia Logistics works closely with various shipping lines to offer you better coverage and more sailing schedules with competitive rates to the destination of your choice.
- Air Freight
Airfreight services give you the flexibility and transit time needs to ensure that your goods arrive where and when you need them. We offer various air freight options such as direct flights, express or courier services, consolidation services, full or partial air charters and services such as customs clearance and brokerage, special handling, prepaid and collect shipments and our services cover almost every origin and destinations.
- Transshipment Cargo
With the globalization of markets and the increasing demand for movement of goods and services, we offer transshipment services from any countries into Port Klang and re-shipped to other parts of the world by full container load or less container load. Depending on your requirements for fast and reliable services, you may opt for sea to air services or vice versa.
- Specialty Services (reefer cargo, dangerous goods, etc.)
Our team will be able to assist you in the selection of specialized transportation for your special cargo needs such as reefer containers for perishable goods or goods that required cold treatment or controlled temperature. We will also be able to assist you in the transportation of hazardous or dangerous goods, filling in the Dangerous Goods Transport Documentation (DGD) or the Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form as per the IMDG Code.
- Custom House Brokerage (customs documentation & clearance for imports & exports)
We offer efficient and timely customs brokerage in all aspects of customs procedures, including:
- Full customs clearance
- Commodity codes / HS classification
- Duty drawback services and sales tax exemption
- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) / EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) for customs duty
- Warehousing (bonded, general warehouse, third party warehouse, repacking)
To cut logistics costs, effective and flexible warehousing for storage and distribution are becoming increasingly important. Columbus Asia Logistics provide warehousing through lease, sub-contracting and owned warehousing facilities. Our distribution services ranging from inventory control, material handling, transportation, warehousing and packing services.
- Landside Services / Land Transportation (full truck load & consolidations)
To complement our forwarding and warehousing services, Columbus Asia Logistics offer haulage and transportation services for all FCLs and LCLs to your customers’ doorsteps. We service major towns in the Peninsular Malaysia and we have transportation ranging from 3 tonnes to 14 tonnes double axle.
- Packing & Removal
For those who need relocation services, individual or organizations, our team of packers are available to assist in packing your personal effects and transport them within Malaysia or overseas.
- Marine Insurance
In order to protect your cargo, we offer comprehensive marine insurance coverage for your cargo.
- Project Cargo Movement
We have our dedicated team to liaise with customers by providing solutions and efficient implementation of project cargo movement. Our project cargo movement includes oil and gas, telecommunications and power plant industries.
